The subject is women and their appearance. There are 21 items of feminine attire mentioned in these verses. At least eighteen of these were worn by the Babylonian goddess called Ishtar, whom the Hebrew women were idolatrously trying to copy. This is NOT how the godly the spirit led women is to dress. Now that is not to say all jewelry is bad nor is makeup bad nor taking care of the hair…etc. Here it those things were worn provocatively to attract men.

In Jerusalem’s future because of scarcity and disease, these haughty (arrogant) daughters of Zion would be raped and humiliated. And all their wonderful “accessories” would be taken away.
Because of their role in the nurturing of children, it is important that women of GOD live and think like women of GOD.When the women of a culture become degenerate, then the hope for the next generation is gone. But when the women of a culture turn to the LORD and HIS ways, there is great hope (confidence) for the future.
It is the women who, through the home, have the most formative influence on the younger generation. Not the most because both the father and mother have their important roles. That is why the home is so important. The home, that is the father (male), and the mother (female) is the foundation on which the younger generation builds, and then they build the foundation for the next generation.
Now this foundational home does not guarantee that the children will follow Yeshua. But without this foundation, the children are much more prone to the KOD and his false system, false way of thinking. That is why the KOD is attacking that foundational family structure.
