“There's certainly a lot of work for a Department of Government Efficiency. There will be immense opposition, obviously, to making government more efficient from entrenched interests that currently benefit from sucking away vast amounts of taxpayer money.

They will not like the fact that they're not getting it anymore. They will fight tooth and nail. But it's got to be done.

And like I said, we're going to aim to reduce government spending, get government out of people's lives as much as possible, and restore freedom and liberty.”
