Thailand is welcoming and full of opportunities for fun, but respect is key. Acting loud, entitled, or disrespectful to the culture and people doesn’t just hurt you, it reflects badly on every foreigner who comes here.

Pro tip: Always remember you are a guest in Thailand. Show respect, learn the basics of the culture, and carry yourself in a way that makes locals glad to see you. Doing that makes your time in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Hua Hin, or Chiang Mai smoother and a lot more enjoyable.
