Robbie Norwood, a defendant in the January 6th case, shared his experience of attending the event due to his wife's insistence and a desire to protect her from potential violence. He described the chaotic scene, including police using tear gas and pepper balls, and being pushed into the Capitol by a crowd. Robbie also mentioned being handed a fire extinguisher by an unknown individual who urged him to use it as a weapon, which he refused to do. He claimed there were approximately 300 DHS agents dressed as Trump supporters, and a high school friend who works for the FBI told him that agents had trained for this event beforehand.
