Name: MARMITE

Occupation: Former Pub Landlord

MARMITE, born Nick Litten, earned his nickname from his unshakable love for spreading thick layers of the yeasty stuff on his morning toast, often paired with a crumbling wedge of sharp cheddar. A grizzled 50-year-old from a sleepy English village, he ran the local pub, The Rusty Anchor, for two decades. His days were filled with pulling pints, bantering with regulars, and sneaking extra cheese onto his late-night toasties. Known for his hearty laugh and a penchant for getting "properly sloshed" on weekends, MARMITE was the heart of his community, until the world fell apart.

When the zombie outbreak hit, MARMITE was mid-bender, celebrating his 50th with a lock-in at the pub. The chaos sobered him up fast. Armed with his trusty cricket bat and a rucksack stuffed with tinned beans, a half-eaten block of cheese, and a bottle of cheap whiskey, he fled into the apocalyptic wastes in search of adventure. Now, he roams the desolate landscape, scavenging for food, booze, and anything to keep his spirits up. His goal? Survive long enough to find a working toaster and a decent pint. MARMITE’s no hero, but his stubborn grit and knack for barroom brawls make him a scrappy survivor. He’ll trade a shot of whiskey for a good story, but cross him, and you’ll meet the business end of his bat.
