Woman Climbs Pier to Free Seagull From Plastic Wound Around Its Neck

Rumble A woman’s new year’s vacation briefly turned into a rescue mission on January 2 when she leapt on top of a pier in Saint Petersburg, Florida, to untangle a distressed seagull from a length of plastic that was wound around its neck. Holding the seagull in one hand and untangling with the other, Tara Russell was able to successfully free the bird without too much fuss.
