Moral Panics: Comic Books, Rock Music, Video Games and Now Smart Phones?

“Cell phones are harming our kids.”

I hear this from "experts."

But it reminds me of something they said decades ago:

“Heavy metal is killing kids!”

“Video games make them violent!”

Is the social media scare different?
