Winter Is Coming: Canada’s Constitutional & Economic Crisis

Hey, let’s have a quick conversation. Summer has been beautiful, hasn’t it? But winter is coming — and in Canada, that has a deeper meaning.

First, let’s talk trade. Mark Carney has signed no deals — not interprovincial, not with the European Union, not with anyone. Meanwhile, China is slapping another 75% tariff on our farmers. The U.S. is imposing 35% tariffs on everything not covered by the free trade agreement. And now the U.S. ambassador is warning that Canada is in violation of that very agreement — because we’re creating barriers to U.S. products, including the Starlink satellite system that Ontario purchased from Elon Musk’s company, and even blocking products like Jack Daniels.

This puts the entire agreement at risk. Once the Americans walk away — months ahead of schedule — it’s over. And the signs are already here. Rockwell Industries just announced they’re shutting down their advanced robotics plant in Ontario and moving those jobs to the U.S. Magna International is closing plants in London, Ontario, and moving to Ohio.

Donald Trump isn’t keeping this agreement alive out of pity — he’s doing it because it benefits America while Canadian manufacturing drains away. Once enough companies move south, Canada’s deal is dead.

And what are we doing? We’re enabling native councils to act as economic gatekeepers, with premiers like Manitoba’s saying no significant project can go forward without their approval. In B.C., the Supreme Court just ruled that private property rights are subservient to native land claims — making the province unstable for investment, with serious implications for provinces like New Brunswick.

At the same time, we face a constitutional crisis. In Quebec, the independence movement is heating up again. In Alberta, the Prosperity Project already has the signatures to compel a referendum on independence. And let’s be blunt: Alberta is Canada’s sugar daddy. Alberta generates $140 billion a year in foreign currency reserves. Ontario, with nearly four times the population, only generates $220 billion. B.C., with equal population to Alberta, generates a mere $50 billion.

Without Alberta’s contribution, Canada cannot import half the goods on store shelves today.

And yet, mainstream media is silent. We have a country becoming ungovernable, while our Prime Minister plays both sides — in cahoots with China, crushing Canadian culture, and in cahoots with Trump, allowing what’s left of our industry to collapse.

Maybe Trump’s “never say never” to Mark Carney wasn’t off-the-cuff — maybe they already planned to break Canada apart and sell it off piece by piece.

On top of that, immigration policies are flooding the country with people who don’t share our values — as seen in the Palestinian street protests where police protect them instead of enforcing Canadian law. Meanwhile, Canadians are dragged into kangaroo courts and threatened with seven years in prison for cheering on truckers who deserved to be heard.

It’s shocking how fast you can destroy a country. Ten years. That’s all it took — with enough committed lunatics in charge.
