Thread: Danville 6/0, White & Black
Tail: Natural Mallard Flank
Rib: Danville 4-Strand Rayon Floss, Black
Body: Danville 4-Strand Rayon Floss, White
Hackle: Gray
Wing: Natural Mallard Flank

The Gray Drake is another wet fly from Ray Bergman's book Trout (page 432, plate #4). The Gray Drake has a tail and wing of mallard flank and a nice floss rib (which I favor) in the body. A nice little fly to work on your floss skills as well as working with mallard flank. --Enjoy
