🇺🇸 Blessed! | Sermon on the Mount 1 | Gert Hoinle

The first word of Jesus' most famous sermon is "Makarioi!" English Bibles translate it as "blessed!" But it actually means "blissful." For most people, blissfulness is a desirable state. But is it attainable? Well, Jesus wants you to have it. In the Beatitudes he presents his followers with an astonishing series of promises that can revolutionize our faith life, if we embrace them. Pastor Gert opens the Bible and gets excited.

Key Bible verses:
Matthew 5:1-12

Gert Hoinle founded Christliches Glaubenszentrum (Christian Faith Center), a free-evangelical church in Geldersheim, Germany, in 1992 and has pastored it since then. He is also on German satellite TV with about 80 broadcasts a month.
He graduated from Bible schools in Munich, Germany, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. In 1991, he was ordained to the ministry by Bob Yandian, then pastor of Grace Fellowship, Tulsa.
Since 1992, he has preached the gospel in many countries on almost every continent of the world and has helped to establish several churches.
The videos are recorded at the CGZ.
