Children who need glasses, extreme dental work, etc. are the 'shame' of their parents.

Chapter One, pages 9 ~ 13: A look at how Chinese treat not only their handicapped children, but those with bad vision. You the kind, thick glasses and all, and they just can't admit to it. Worse yet is how they handle this.

The dental work of a remarkably inbred people. The shame parents display if their child isn't born "perfect" in every way. Infanticide at epidemic levels, all in effort to hide the fact that they produced "flawed" offspring.

As with the British Royal Family, we see only the exceptionally bright, gifted, and otherwise wonderfully endowed members. This is because the Chinese, like British Royals, shuffle their imperfect offspring to special homes and places. I would venture that the Brits are treated far better than the Chinese.

China still behaves this way and more is the shame because their behaviour is unforgivable on any level.
