Here's a question that's always bothered me about university business professors: If they're so knowledgeable about business, why are they teaching in a "dingy lecture hall in Nottingham" instead of lounging on their yacht in the Mediterranean?

It's a strange paradox - the people teaching business seem to be terrible at actually doing business, or why would they accept such a low-paid job?

"I know business theory and I'm passionate about it" - but shouldn't successful business knowledge translate to, well, success?
