Rotterdam — During his sentencing Wednesday, Anthony Lewis Jr. read scripture, cursed out his attorney, and maintained with no remorse that he killed his mother and stepfather in their Rotterdam home because God commanded him to do it.What Lewis — who was sentenced to life without parole — did not do during his profane-laced commentary and his attempts to argue with the judge inside a Schenectady County courtroom, was address the family of Cathy Guillaume, 65, and 73-year-old Robert “Bob” Guillaume.Lewis, who was living with the couple, brutally stabbed them to death at their Fern Avenue residence around the Fourth of July holiday in July 2023. He fled the state in Bob Guillaume’s sports utility vehicle.
