Laith sits down with Muhammad Kawtharani, personal friend and collaborator in cultural revival initiatives to Ziad Rahbani; hours after Ziad was laid to rest in his hometown of Bikfaiya, Lebanon.

The two discuss the importance of the Rahbani school of music, the revolt of Ziad against its confines, his significance to a whole generation raised during the “civili war,” his support for resistance, and the huge cultural gap left with his departure for this earth.
