Marvel’s Fantastic Four has opened and so far, critics and audiences are both in agreement that this movie is good.

Right now, Fantastic Four: First Steps is projected to come in just under James Gunn’s Superman domestically with a global opening weekend of just over $200 million. However, even with this opening weekend the film still has a way to go in order to reach profitability. Not to mention the praise for Fantastic Four is identical to what we saw with Thunderbolts that went on to flop at the box office. Fantastic Four does have a better opportunity to reach profitability than Thunderbolts because of its notoriety, even amongst non-comic book readers.
