Cosmic Fantasy: Bouken Shounen Yuu (PCECD - 1990) playthrough 15/18 get Grand Caliber & Olmec Cave

One of the first 3 RPGs ever released on the CD format, this is a very generic JRPG of the time.
With the whole team back together, we head through the corridor that is the cave that had been cursed and on to meet the Sage. Making it to the Sage's house can be tough if you run into Basilisks, which can petrify. In addition to telling us that the Grand Caliber, which is needed to defeat Morgan, is guarded by the nearby dragons, by resting here, he gives Saya her best weapon, the Lightning Staff, which does 80 damage to all enemies in addition to its physical attack. Blocking the path to the cave where Grand Caliber is is the dragon knight Maisen. Defeating him, we continue to the cave where the Dragon Elder and Grand Caliber are waiting. The elder tells us the sword chooses its master. Of course, Yuu is able to pull the sword from the stone. Maisen joins us, transforms in his dragon form, and flies us to Morgan's Castle. The castle is protected by a barrier, so Monmo suggests we head back to Bahari to see if Nyan has anything in stock to neutralize the barrier. While you will probably be tempted to save in Bahari, entering the inn there starts a pretty long sequence during which you cannot save. So, it's best to immediately head to Nineva to save and then return to Bahari. Nyan has been kidnapped and taken to a cave on an island south of Olmec. Maisen flies us there and we rescue Nyan. Nyan defeats the barrier over Morgan's Castle and landing outside the cave leading to the castle, I'm finally able to save.
