The Israeli Air Force has carried out a series of airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon’s eastern Beqaa Valley, the IDF confirms.

According to the military, the strikes targeted infrastructure tied to Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force, including weapons depots and training sites used to prepare attacks against Israel. The IDF says these facilities are used to train operatives for missions targeting Israeli forces and civilians.

The military emphasized that Hezbollah’s operations in these areas violate previous agreements between Israel and Lebanon and represent a direct threat to Israeli security.

The Radwan unit, previously assigned to infiltrate northern Israel under the “Conquer the Galilee” strategy, had been actively developing these plans prior to last year’s conflict.
