It's a strange condition, for our peoples, to know that our best days lie behind us. And while everyone else is looking forward to our demise, we have got nothing to look forward to. This conclusion denies the very notion of progress preached since Karl Marx. Yet, here we are, lost in the fog of progress, looking for a guiding light to lead us out.
