Reverse nordic curls can work really really well, you just have to progress intelligently and avoid ranges of pain when doing this. The reason why that works so well is because they take your knee into as much controlled flexion as it can go and helps the joint and muscles around that joint function better over time as you can go deeper/farther down. This move also removes the hip from the equation so you can solely focus on rehabbing your knee before paying attention to the hips and ankles. Make sure to start with the easiest progression which is down as far as you can without any added weight in a pain free range. Try bending at the hip more to start, then as you get more comfortable keep the hips back and butt on top of your heels. Message me on Insta for more specific info!
