Cheapest DIY Polarizing filter for GoPro Hero3

In this video, I show you how I made a custom DIY polarizing filter for my GoPro Hero3 to fix that annoying glare issue once and for all.

The Hero3 is still a solid little action cam, but compared to my Canon 7D, the glare ruins a lot of footage — especially when filming outdoors or around reflective surfaces. So instead of spending nearly 70€ on a ready-made filter that may not even fit, I took matters into my own hands.

I used a sheet of polarizing film from K&F Concept, an old lens protector, and a Silhouette Cameo 4 to cut the perfect circle (or... try to 😅). Spoiler: it didn’t go as planned at first — but I made it work.
