The words of Jesus in Luke 8:17 tell us “For nothing hidden will not be found. There is no secret that will not be well known.”

In laymen’s terms: everything hidden will be brought to light.

I have a personal story to share today that impacted me immensely this morning.

Every evening when I get ready for bed, I have a routine that I follow that includes taking my jewelry off and placing in a small white ramekin. In the morning before I head out for the day, I return to my jewelry ramekin and either wear what is there, or I might change items to gold or silver.

On Monday evening I followed my routine and placed the ramekin back where I keep it and went on to sleep. The next morning, I returned to put on the jewelry and my wedding ring was not in the ramekin.
My heart sunk immediately and I began a frantic search.
I looked everywhere I knew to look and finally stopped to ask the LORD to show it to me where it was hidden and spoke Luke 8:17 out over the atmosphere.

I was so worried I had somehow dropped it or vacuumed it up. My mind was racing but I knew I had to let go of my anxious thoughts and allow God to work it out.

For three days I continued to look and always ended my search with prayer and speaking Luke 8:17.

Last night before I went to bed I checked for the ring again and it was not in the ramekin nor in any other location where I store jewelry.

With an aching heart I shared my feelings of despair with the LORD, and I told Him that it’s not the value of the ring I am concerned about it is a delightful symbol of my marriage to Dr. Steven Becker whom I deeply cherish.

I again quoted the words of Luke 8:17.

And because the WORD says Psalm 91:11 “For He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” And in Luke 4:10 “For it is written, ‘He will command His angels concerning you to keep thee.”
I went on to command the angels that have charge over me to keep me in all my ways to go and search high and low and bring back the ring to me. I went on to bed at peace and never gave it another thought.

This morning, I went to the ramekin to put on the jewelry, lo and behold, lying on a couple of gold chains was my ring!

I was astonished, delighted and could not hold back my thanksgiving and praise. I paraded around our closet thanking the LORD for his faithfulness to the WORD!

I share all this with you to remind you NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD AND HE SEES AND KNOWS ALL THINGS. Speak the WORD over your life, it will NEVER FAIL YOU. Rest in HIM. Proclaim SHAHLOM, SHAHLOM which means nothing is missing and nothing is broken!
