Mahershala Ali Doesn’t Think Marvel Will Be Making Blade

The star for Marvel’s announced Blade reboot doesn’t appear confident the project will ever get off the ground following years of setbacks.

Marvel announced back in 2019 they will have Blade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and since then they don’t even have so much as a script completed. Mahershala Ali was asked about the project at the premiere of his latest film Jurassic World Rebirth and he doesn’t have any status on the movie and expressed doubts the movie will get made when he said he’s looking for other projects that are action heavy. Original Blade trilogy writer David S. Goyer said recently he would be willing to help on the project, but was denied by Marvel. This could be because the studio has a script they didn’t tell Ali about, simply don’t want Goyer’s advice, or they don’t plan on making it.
