James Bond Race-Swap in the Upcoming Amazon Franchise Reboot

New rumors are going around that Amazon will be race-swapping James Bond in their upcoming reboot of the character following Daniel Craig’s exit.

Actor Aaron Pierre is rumored to be the next James Bond actor for the foreseeable future. There is reason to be concerned for how Amazon will treat the character since after they acquired the full creative rights they were said to be interested in turning it into content. It’s been speculated Amazon wants to do to the James Bond franchise what Disney did to Star Wars after they bought it from George Lucas. The race swap aspect may be a bit too far even for them, but the producers managing James Bond have not been shy about divisive casting in the past including the race swapped Snape in the upcoming Harry Potter series for Warner Bros.
