How to recognize and untangle ourselves from the influence of the Babylon system in this present age, with practical steps and biblical examples.

We are living in a world that is increasingly reflecting the spirit of Babylon—a system of confusion, pride, rebellion, moral compromise, and false worship. The Lord is calling His people to come out of Babylon, to be untangled from its influence, and to walk in holiness, purity, and power. This is not just a one-time decision—it’s a process of disentangling ourselves from a culture that is designed to weaken, deceive, and distract the people of God.

Revelation 18:4 (NKJV)

“And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.’”

This is a command—not a suggestion. God is saying to His people: “Don’t partner with Babylon. Don’t blend with it. Don’t tolerate its influence. Get out—because judgment is coming.”

What is Babylon?

Babylon is more than a historical city; it is a spiritual system that still operates today.
• It’s the spirit of compromise (Daniel 1:5–8).
• It’s the system of control and confusion (Genesis 11:9).
• It represents worldly seduction, false religion, and pride (Isaiah 47:8–10).
• It is the counterfeit kingdom that opposes everything God stands for.

1. Recognize the Entanglement

2 Corinthians 6:17 (NKJV)
“Therefore ‘Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.’”

2. Break the Agreements

Amos 3:3 (NKJV)
“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”

3. Renew Your Mind

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

4. Build an Altar and Worship God Alone

Joshua 24:15 (NKJV)
“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

5. Pursue Holiness, Not Just Avoidance

Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV)
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.”

6. Be Filled with the Holy Spirit

Galatians 5:16 (NKJV)
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”

Find Remnant Community

Hebrews 10:25 (NKJV)
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another—and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Live with Eternity in Mind

Colossians 3:2 (NKJV)
“Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”

The call to “come out of Babylon” is a call to intimacy, holiness, clarity, and power. God is preparing a Bride that is without spot or wrinkle. To walk in this next move of God, we must be untangled from the world’s system and fully surrendered to His.

Let today be your moment of decision. Draw a line in the sand.
Let go of compromise. Renounce every tie to the counterfeit.
And let the Holy Spirit lead you into a deeper, freer, and more powerful walk with God.
