Taco soup combines all the delicious flavors of a taco in a comforting soup! My secret ingredient is a little bit of cream cheese which gives it the perfect hint creaminess. And don’t forget to serve it with all your favorite toppings!

Taco Soup

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
4 cups chicken broth
15 oz tomato sauce
2 cups frozen corn
1 can kidney beans, drained
4 oz cream cheese, cut into small cubes
Toppings - shredded cheese, tortilla chips, chopped cilantro

Directions
Heat oil in a pan over medium high and brown ground beef, about 4 minutes.
Add onions and garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.
Stir in chili powder and cumin.
Stir in chicken broth, tomato sauce, corn, beans, and cream cheese.
Season well with salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Lower heat to medium low and let simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes, stirring often.
To serve - ladle soup into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings!
