Karoline Leavitt Blasts Jill Biden: “Complicit in the Cover-Up of Joe’s Decline”

Washington, D.C., May 29, 2025 — White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt ignited a political firestorm Thursday after declaring that former First Lady Dr. Jill Biden was “complicit in the cover-up” of Joe Biden’s health crisis during his 2024 presidential campaign. “Frankly, the former First Lady should certainly speak up,” she responded. “She knew. She saw. And she shielded. The cover-up is undeniable if you look at the photos, the videos, and just use a little common sense. Jill Biden was certainly complicit in that cover-up.”

Leavitt cited numerous incidents of Dr. Biden allegedly guiding her husband away from cameras and media questions, stating, “She is still lying to the American people. She still thinks the public is so stupid they’ll believe it—and frankly, it’s insulting.”

Her sharp rebuke followed a wave of outrage online and in conservative media, triggered by rumors that Joe Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis—now confirmed to be metastatic—was intentionally hidden during the campaign. Donald Trump Jr. added fuel to the fire, tweeting: “What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup???”

While the Biden family continues to downplay the scandal, Leavitt made it clear the White House expects answers. “We will not let this be swept under the rug. The American people deserve the truth—whether it’s about classified documents, border security, or the health of their commander-in-chief.”
