Come along with me, as I walk with the animals, in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

There is a lot to see, hear and smell ... here 🐵🙉🙊

I took a taxi to and from, but there is ample parking.

Signage is also excellent.

I got around by foot, but you can jump on the group transporter and or hire your own self-drive private golf cart.

The aquarium is additional facility (at additional entry cost) with the larger zoo.

I explored as much as possible (skipping the waterpark) and was kepts enthralled throughout my walkabout.

Heaps of fantastic flora and fauna on show, with handy information boards accompanying the exhibits, for those interested in the backstory..

Highlights for me ; on land, the humble water buck and in the water, the colourful, charismatic and ultimately quite dangerous, moray eel.

Zoos and aquariums get a bad rap in some quarters, but for mine, I love em, not just as curious tourist, but also because they do a lot of important research, education and conservation.

If you are looking for a couple of hours of curiosity while in Chiang Mai, then I reckon you cannot go wrong by adding a visit to zoo and aquarium.
