Russian Yolka Air defence kinetic interceptor drone

Specialized Yolka interceptor drones are successfully used by Russian Armed Forces servicemen to destroy enemy UAVs of various types: from FPV strike drones (including heavy multicopter bombers as Ukrainian Baba Yaga) to reconnaissance drones flying at significant altitudes.
The Yolka air defense drone is a compact specialized kinetic interceptor that operates similarly to a MANPADS on the principle of "capture the target - shoot - forget". In this case, the target is hit by mechanical collision and destruction of the enemy UAV structure, which eliminates the need to use a warhead. Thanks to an advanced target capture and tracking system using elements of artificial intelligence, the Yolka air defense drones demonstrate extremely high performance in the air defense zone.
