Israel’s Nuclear Monopoly and the Gospel of Exceptionalism

Funny how no one seems to ask the obvious: why is Israel the only one allowed to have a nuclear bomb in the Middle East? Who handed the Zionist leadership this exclusive privilege—was it part of the same fantasy package that includes being the "Chosen People" and owning a "Promised Land"? Must be nice to write the rules and then play the eternal victim when questioned.
