Australia you voted for sin - Prophecy: Seven years of judgement have begun for Australia

God have mercy on the great nation of Australia.

I watched the ballots fall like rain
Down every coast, through drought and flame
A choice was made, the die was cast
The narrow way left in the past
You crowned the ones who mock His name
And now the storm begins again

We traded truth for what feels right
And turned from mercy into night

Australia, you voted for sin
Now the reckoning begins
You opened the door and let it in
A silence falls where God has been
But there's still time to cry aloud
Still time to turn around
The clock has struck, the years are set
Seven long years of consequence

I saw the poor with hollow eyes
The pensioners, the mother's cries
A nation drowning in its debt
A judgment we won't soon forget
And Heaven weeps, the Spirit groans
For every child we’ve left alone

We said, “Progress,” and called it good
While tearing down what’s understood

Australia, you voted for sin
Now the reckoning begins
You welcomed the lies, you let them in
The hand of grace now pulled back thin
But there's still time to bow and pray
Still time to change our way
The hour is late, the warning sent
Seven long years of punishment

And like the wheels in Pharaoh’s flood
Your leaders grind into the mud
Their plans will twist, their paths will fail
While Heaven watches, hearts grow pale
But mercy waits on bended knee
For those who dare repent and see

“If My people,” says the Lord
“Will turn from sin and seek My word
I'll heal the land, I'll calm the wave
But first you must admit you're slaves”

Australia, you voted for sin
But redemption can begin
If hearts return, if knees will bend
This curse could find an early end
The skies could clear, the drought could break
If only we awake
But until then, the clock will run
Seven hard years have just begun

Oh Australia... return to Jesus, return to Him,
Before the light grows ever dim
