Thursday, May 15, 2025: 77 years of Nakba. 77 years of Israel stealing Palestinian land. 77 years of genocide. 77 years of ethnic cleansing. 77 years of resistance by Indigenous Palestinians.

The protest "NAKBA 77" in Lenapehoking (New York City), was organized by Within Our Lifetime (WOL), on Thursday, May 15, 2025.

People gathered in Cadman Plaza Park in Brooklyn. After the rally, peaceful pro-Palestine New Yorkers crossed the Brooklyn Bridge to City Hall Park where they had another rally. After City Hall people marched to Union Square Park, then they marched to Madison Square Park, where they ended the demonstration.

"77 years of Nakba. 77 years of genocide. 77 years of resistance. On Nakba Day we join Palestinians around the world in uplifting our people’s resistance to genocide, zionism and settler colonialism since 1948. The Nakba, commemorated on May 15th of every year is ongoing to this day, as millions of Palestinians continue to be starved in Gaza, while thousands more are massacred and displaced from Gaza to the West Bank in “israel’s” ongoing genocide funded and carried out with the United States.

Join us in the streets from Brooklyn to Manhattan as we flood New York City and gather at multiple convergence points to demand an end to the siege and blockade of Gaza, an end the ongoing genocide, and full liberation and return from the river to the sea within our lifetime," said Within Our Lifetime before the protest.

El primer lugar de encuentro fue en Cadman Plaza Park en Brooklyn. Después del mitin, personas pacíficas pro-Palestina cruzaron el Puente de Brooklyn a City Hall Park en Manhattan, que era el sugundo lugar de encuentro. Después de un mitin, marcharon al tercer lugar de encuentro, Union Square Park, en el mismo Manhattan. De Union Square marcharon a Madison Square Park, donde terminaron la manifestación.
