The protest "NAKBA 77" in Lenapehoking (New York City), was organized by Within Our Lifetime (WOL), on Thursday, May 15, 2025.

People gathered in Cadman Plaza Park in Brooklyn. After the rally, peaceful pro-Palestine New Yorkers crossed the Brooklyn Bridge to City Hall Park where they had another rally. After City Hall people marched to Union Square Park, then they marched to Madison Square Park, where they ended the demonstration.

"77 years of Nakba. 77 years of genocide. 77 years of resistance. On Nakba Day we join Palestinians around the world in uplifting our people’s resistance to genocide, zionism and settler colonialism since 1948. The Nakba, commemorated on May 15th of every year is ongoing to this day, as millions of Palestinians continue to be starved in Gaza, while thousands more are massacred and displaced from Gaza to the West Bank in “israel’s” ongoing genocide funded and carried out with the United States.

Join us in the streets from Brooklyn to Manhattan as we flood New York City and gather at multiple convergence points to demand an end to the siege and blockade of Gaza, an end the ongoing genocide, and full liberation and return from the river to the sea within our lifetime," said Within Our Lifetime before the protest.

El mitin y marcha "NAKBA 77" en Lenapehoking (Ciudad de Nueva York), fue organizada por Within Our Lifetime (WOL), el jueves 15 de mayo de 2025.

El primer lugar de encuentro fue en Cadman Plaza Park en Brooklyn. Después del mitin, personas pacíficas pro-Palestina cruzaron el Puente de Brooklyn a City Hall Park en Manhattan, que era el sugundo lugar de encuentro. Después de un mitin, marcharon al tercer lugar de encuentro, Union Square Park, en el mismo Manhattan. De Union Square marcharon a Madison Square Park, donde terminaron la manifestación.

Las personas Palestinas han estado RESISTIENDO DESDE 1948.

"77 años de Nakba. 77 años de genocidio. 77 años de resistencia. En el Día de la Nakba, nos unimos a las personas palestinas de todo el mundo para enaltecer la resistencia de nuestro pueblo al genocidio, el sionismo y el colonialismo desde 1948. La Nakba, conmemorada el 15 de mayo de cada año, continúa hasta el día de hoy, mientras millones de personas palestinas siguen padeciendo hambre en Gaza, mientras miles más son masacradas y desplazadas desde Gaza hasta Cisjordania en el genocidio continuo de Israel, financiado y ejecutado con la ayuda de Estados Unidos.

Únanse a nosotros en las calles, desde Brooklyn hasta Manhattan, mientras inundamos la ciudad de Nueva York y nos reunimos en múltiples puntos de convergencia para exigir el fin del asedio y el bloqueo de Gaza, el fin del genocidio en curso y la plena liberación y el retorno del río al mar dentro de nuestra vida", dijo Within Our Lifetime antes de la protesta.
