New Pope Leo, in his first Sunday prayer address, said: “I am deeply hurt by what is happening in the Gaza Strip.”

He must be talking about the hostages, isn’t he?

Hurt by what, exactly? A nonexistent “genocide”? Israel having the lowest ratio of civilian-to-combatant deaths in the history of modern warfare?

Hamas embedding its activities among civilians so that it can use any retaliatory fire for propaganda purposes?

The specter of a second pope in a row retailing Hamas propaganda?
