Israel is preparing a site in Re’im to receive soldier Idan Alexander.

The Red Cross will transfer him to the buffer zone and hand him over to the Israeli army. He’ll then go to Re’im base to meet his family before being flown to the hospital.

There will be no formal handover ceremony.
