Greetings from the outskirts of the Command Center where we are going to transport us all to the COSMIC THETA THEATER 2117

Resolution (2012) is a mind-bending indie horror film directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, starring Peter Cilella and Vinny Curran. It starts with a simple setup: Michael, a graphic designer living in the city with his pregnant wife, receives a disturbing email—footage of his estranged best friend, Chris, spiraling into drug addiction in a remote cabin in the woods. Despite his wife’s warnings, Michael sets out for one last shot at saving his friend.

What follows isn’t your typical rehab story. Michael tases and handcuffs Chris, locking him down for a cold-turkey detox—but the real horror isn’t just in Chris’s withdrawal. Strange objects start showing up: old photos, films, campfire stories, and clues seemingly left just for them. The duo begins to suspect they’re being watched—or worse, manipulated—by something unseen. Something that isn’t just documenting their lives, but trying to script them. Something that wants… the perfect ending.
