The Establishment Media Has Destroyed Itself (and We Can’t Stop Smiling) with Alex Marlow

Years of unethical journalistic practices by the majority of US news outlets has resulted in a massive corrosion in credibility. Trust in mainstream media is at an all-time low according to the latest polls. How did we get here?

• Because they censor (with a good deal of help from leftwing government) – You’ll be astonished when you learn what Breitbart News has been subjected to over the years. Will President Trump be able to put the kibosh on this once and for all?

• Because they lie (often to aid and abet leftwing government) – With hindsight we can now see how we’ve been gaslit and lied to, over and again. Stepping back, it’s a stunning list of deceptions.

• And now they are falling like flies – The list of media “stars” who have been deported (or who self-deported) from their lofty perches in the establishment media continues to grow.

So what’s next? The White House has made room for New Media. Breitbart News and others are regularly in the briefing room and have fresh access to leaders here in the U.S. and around the globe. Alex Marlow met Andrew Breitbart when Alex was still in college at University of California – Berkeley. Andrew was making waves in the “new media” space and had given a talk to a gathering of young conservatives, and Alex was in the audience. After the speech, Alex struck up a conversation with Andrew, and the two hit it off. Soon after, Alex started working part-time for Andrew while still in college, and joined him full time upon graduation – he was Breitbart’s first employee, working in Andrew’s basement. (And yes, you are correct that he was basically a personal assistant at first. One of his key duties was making sure there was plenty of Diet Coke in the fridge!)

As Alex learned the ropes in the new media business, the company grew rapidly, and Alex’s duties expanded dramatically. He rose to editor-in-chief after the untimely passing of Andrew Breitbart in 2012.
