Trey Knowles - Me Versus Tenant
19
Trey Knowles' "Me Versus Tenant" is a track where the servant Noble Drew Ali and Trey Knowles brings the Tenant to court for mistreating the vineyard. The Tenant gets mad and tries to kill the servants because the Tenant still wants the vineyard to be under his sovereignty. The end will come when the Son of Man will destroy the Tenant and the Tenant's Dominion. The Tenant in this song represents the Jewish religious leaders, the chief priests, and the Pharisees. The vineyard represents God's people, the Israelites. The servants represent those who were sent to warn and guide God's people about the Tenants. The Son of Man represents Jesus.
