Shocking dashcam captures moment thugs smash police car with sledgehammers
A hero police officer has received a bravery award after shocking dashcam footage captured two thugs smashing his windscreen with sledgehammers.
PC Martin Hodnett was on his own in a patrol car when he attempted to stop two suspected burglars.
