Big Data Poll Director Rich Baris says President Donald Trump’s approval rating will skyrocket if his tariff strategy pays off, especially since Democrats have been stoking fear about his economic agenda. “If [Trump’s tariffs] work out, he's going to look like a rock star,” he says. “Everyone's going to appreciate it quite a bit because it's going to be something that he had the nerve to do that others did not. And he’ll get credit for it.”
