Ancient Aliens in the Old Testament

The Ancient Aliens Theory was developed back in the 1970s, according to which human-like creatures came to Earth from outer space in prehistoric times and brought civilisation to the people of Earth. They left behind traces, for example in buildings, but also in stories and myths. The Old Testament of the Bible contains many stories that are incomprehensible at first glance, but which suddenly open up to the reader when the Ancient Aliens Theory is applied. This lecture will focus on recognising and classifying the relevant traditions as such.
