April 22: The Mystery of the Resurrection – The Anthroposophical View. Guest Speaker Dr. Steve Usher We have been privileged to have Dr. Usher for our Faith Over Fear series several times in the past and are pleased he is returning to present this program on The Mystery of the Resurrection just following Resurrection Sunday April 20, 2025. What does the Resurrection of Jesus The Christ means for humanity? A central theme is St. Paul’s statement: “And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:14). Dr. Usher will present the insights of the seer and spiritual scientist Rudolf Steiner (1861-1924), whose complete works span a massive 360 volumes. Dr. Usher holds a PhD in Economics (University of Michigan 1978), then worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY 1978-1980. From 1988 – 1999 Dr. Usher was a research economist at a leading economic think tank. From 1980 to 1988 he managed the Anthroposophic Press, which publishes Steiner’s works in English translation. Since 1999, he has worked free-lance, giving Anthroposophical programs in many settings around the world.
