Pennsylvania resident Jeffrey Sidle captured video of a man rescuing a buck that got stranded on a frozen section of Greeley Lake in Greeley, Pennsylvania, on November 24. The video shows the stranded deer unable to stand on the slippery ice. A man gets into a small boat to approach the buck. He ties a rope around the animal and takes it to shore. Sidle told Storyful all those involved were hunters and sportsmen. After the ordeal, the deer got to its feet and walked away after being stranded for around three hours. The man in the video was later identified by WNEP news as Joshua Davis. Credit: Jeffrey Sidle via Storyful
