Allied aircraft shot down over German-occupied territory broken up for scrap in 1943

The aircraft that appears at the beginning of the clip is 337th BS 96th BG Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress 42-3353 "Tar Fly" brought down by flak over Beaumont Sur Oise on September 9th 1943. Ball turret gunner Orville Sloane and Tail gunner Lonnie Ogle were killed in action while the eight other crew members were captured.
