Democrats challenge other 'ineffective' Democrats as inner-party struggles show

Some Democrats are vowing to challenge ineffective members within their ranks as the party grapples with its future following losses in the 2024 elections.

This past week, former President Joe Biden was briefly back in the spotlight, making a plea to preserve Social Security and pushing back on the Trump administration.

His party is still trying to navigate a path forward. A recent UMass poll indicates both parties are struggling with voter approval, with Republicans at 41% and Democrats at 29%.
