Most of us who’ve followed the events in Ukraine, Russia’s responses, and American involvement in the country, have been saying what the New York times finally published, after millions of dead, that the United States has indeed been fighting an all-out proxy war against Russia using the Ukraine Armed Forces. We have had American boots on the ground and American Generals have been calling the shots. The concept that Russia’s invasion in 2022 was unprovoked was and still is, a complete lie. The reality is we, and NATO, have wasted time, resources, and lives. Now we have a new Trump administration and the President ran on ending the war, but can we do it when behind the scenes our own national security apparatus is likely fighting against peace? We have now been very clear that the US priorities are focused on defense of the homeland and turning to deterring China with a peace through strength approach, but not everyone agrees. Dangerously, sitting full colonel-level commanders are publicly opposing President Trumps foreign policy. Our department of defense and intelligence organization leaders are in open rebellion while the new administration is still trying to get up and running.
