Is Islam a religion of peace?

Why is there no public debate on this issue? Why does the political class favor a political-theological system that has these principles as its foundation? What blindness moves Western society today? Can all this be explained by mere corruption alone? Some, the fools glamorized by the culture industry, dismiss the virulent content of these verses by shrugging and saying, “Even in the Bible there are questionable verses...” Yes, but no Jew or Christian acts believing such verses to be commandments to kill others. No one. Unfortunately, we are witnessing an age in which facts are rejected in the name of ideology, and this, especially when confronted with a fundamentally hostile ideology is extremely dangerous. Those who do not want to learn through reason, Kant said, end up learning through sorrow.
