My Japanese Video Game Collection 138 Final Fantasy 7

The greatest final fantasy game ever made.

1997 was the awesome year for playstation because Final Fantasy 7 came out. It originally was going to be for the nintendo 64. But Nintendo and Square had a problem with each other and Square decided to break up with Nintendo after 10 years.

Final Fantasy 7 was the greatest final fantasy game ever made because of the story, setting, gameplay, and characters. You got Cloud, Tifa, Aeris. Barret, Cid, Vincent and of course the greatest villain in the franchise.....Sephiroth!!!!

Speaking of Sephiroth I just wanna say his Super Nova in the japanese version is lame. But the U.S. version is better and it takes 2 minutes to watch the whole thing.

This is the first final fantasy game for the playstation and it does look very amazing. It also introduces Limit Breaks which let's you unleash powerful attacks when taken too much damage.

FMV is used in this game and it looks awesome. Too bad I couldn't get to the motorcycle battle scene here because I didn't want to play more than 2 hours for this video.

This game is one of many playstation games that has multiple discs and this game has 3 discs so if you get to a certain point of the game you have to change to the next disc.

The materia system is good in this game. It does give you a power-up but it can also power you down. You can gain more use of Materia but getting better weapons and armor.

Overall Final Fantasy 7 is a gem in the playstation library and this game is worth playing after 28 years of it's release. I perfer the original playstation game over the Remakes anyday.
