Robert- 57- Disabled and has been on the streets for over 25 years

Robert is 57 and disabled and has been homeless for over 25 years. He says he doesn't want to go to CASS, Andre House or other Shelters because it's like walking a Prison Yard. He says they make it so hard for everyone out on the streets he said trying to get his SSI and Disability was so taunting it almost made him want to forget about it, but they finally gave him his SSI but denied him for disability and he cant even walk or use his hands. He Broke a vertebrae in his neck and when he called the Ambulance they tried to stand him up and just told him he's homeless and on drugs so sat him back down and left him there, it took a lady to come help get him to the hospital. Now he cant walk because he cant use his arms for balance. Hear Roberts Story here:
