Sen. Cory Booker spent a full day standing on the Senate floor, delivering an impassioned speech in protest of the Trump administration's policies.

His effort, which involved dozens of Senate Democrats, set a record for the longest speech on record in the chamber.

And while Booker found plenty of opportunities to highlight his differences with the Donald Trump, he could not dedicate a single moment of the entire 25 hours to the tens of thousands of Palestinians who have been massacred by Israel in Gaza.
