Bi-Partisan Distortion of Democracy

Political parties around the world are using similar tactics to divert money to allies and distort democracy.
Billions and possibly trillions of dollars are being siphoned from taxpayers to buy off NGOs, and fraudulent organizations like WE Charity.
Elon Musk spoke about this today, saying he has uncovered billions in fraudulent spending to ghost NGOs and sham companies, which in turn provide votes and illicit political donations.
This video attempts to highlight and explain this. Neo-feudalism is my conclusion, a phenomenon whereby taxpayer money is used by corrupt politicians in order to manipulate votes;
It seems, there is no limit to the amount of money incumbent regimes are willing to pay to buy votes, and the result is huge debt and inflation.
Canada is no exception, as evidenced by former minister Catherine McKenna losing track of 20,000 contracts with $230 billion.
This corruption marks the revival of feudalism, or, rather neo-feudalism.
In modern version where knights are not needed, they are replaced with bought votes.
Judges are also bought agents and this has resulted in lawfare being waged against political adversaries.
An example involving both of these symptoms of neo-feudalism that was revealed this week is France as Marine Le Pen, of the National Rally party. She has been convicted of using EU funds intended to pay staff to implement EU policies to instead to support her party at a national level.
The irony for Le Pen, is that these illicit funds were used to trap her (lawfare), the result being that she barred from running in France's 2027 national election for president. The New Yorker covers this exceptionally well in case you want to understand this in more detail (google it).
In a nutshell, Le Pen is accusing her adversaries via a corrupt judiciary, of a political smack-down.
Neo-feudalism has gone so far off the rails that even Machiavelli would be shocked.
Ford, the premier of Ontario's, greenbelt fiasco is a case in point. Fords government unlocked protected lands surrounding Toronto to his pals. Fortunately, his government was caught with their hands in the till to the tune of $8billion. That is the scale of profit these illicit greenbelt deals represent.
Unlike feudalism of old, whereby nobles provided protection in exchange for knights and gold, taxpayers today only get lower productivity and inflation in return for this corruption.
Voters need to start being strategic in their voting and hold government to account. DOGE in the US is a start.
